Geek Fashion For Girls
Looking for oversized, clear-lens, geek style glasses/spectacles?
I was thinking of getting some oversized glasses (and have my prescription lenses put in them) as I would like a change from my thinner, squarish glasses.
Perhaps something a little like Nelly Yuki's glasses in Gossip Girl (she wears various unusual, more high-fashion eyewear throughout the series)
So basically any suggestions of designers or websites where I can buy more unusual, high fashion eyewear with BIG lenses. (clear lens please! no sunglasses). Direct links to particular styles would be especially helpful!

Hey my friends done exactly the same, got a pair of geek glasses and put here lenses in them. They look really good! American apparel sell good geeky eyewear. If there is'nt one near you just go on their website its brilliant! Also Urban Outfitters sell good ones aswell! if there isn't on near you just check out their website. I'm not sure what country your from? but if your from England Brick lane, portobello road markets sell loads. Oh and ebay! are brill for stuff like that.

You would likely see people, young and old, walking down the street sporting shirts with prints that say, “It Must Be User Error” or “Obey Gravity, It’s Law”. And it is not only limited to men. What Is A Geek?
The word "geek" originally refers to the performers in a carnival whose act includes biting the heads off chickens and eating glass to entertain people. After a while, a person who got paid to do work considered odd or out of the ordinary by mainstream society also referred to as a geek.
A geek used to have a negative connotation. It’s not something you want to be called decades ago, I’m sure. But, after years of ridicule and never getting the girls out, geeks these days are hot. The term has become more complimentary, denoting extra ordinary skills within particular fields particularly in the technical field. Computer programmers, for instance, think highly of the term because it gives them special status within the computing community.
